Cliff Robinson is a member of the firm’s Litigation Practice Group. Cliff litigates on behalf of businesses in both state and federal court.
Cliff received his law degree from Indiana University Robert H. McKinney School of Law in 2012. During law school, Cliff participated in the school’s immigration clinic and interned at the Julian Center, which supports victims of domestic violence. He also interned for the Honorable Heather Welch, Judge, Indiana Commerical Court.
Following law school, Cliff clerked for the Honorable Michael S. Kanne of the United States Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit. After his clerkship, Cliff worked for the City of Indianapolis Office of Corporation Counsel as an Assistant City Prosecutor, where he was responsible for prosecuting city ordinance violations and public nuisances. Cliff then joined the City’s Litigation section, where he defended the City in state and federal court and was designated to handle all employment litigation for the City. Cliff left the Office of Corporation Counsel to clerk for the late Honorable Larry J. McKinney of the Southern District of Indiana, which involved researching and drafting legal orders on a wide variety of federal matters.
Prior to law school, Cliff attended DePauw University where he majored, and became proficient, in Spanish. He studied abroad for one semester in Segovia, Spain.
Cliff and his wife reside in Indianapolis with their daughter.
