Dougie Barnard joins Densborn Blachly LLP

Barnard brings real estate investment trust expertise to expanding real estate practice

INDIANAPOLIS – Dougie Barnard has joined the business, real estate and litigation law firm of Densborn Blachly LLP, the firm announced today.

Barnard will join the firm’s Real Estate Practice Group and will focus on advising real estate development and investment sponsors, private real estate investment funds and investor groups in matters relating to the structure and formation of investment funds and joint ventures, offerings of debt and equity securities, and governance matters.

Before joining Densborn Blachly LLP, Barnard advised public, non-listed real estate investment trusts (REITs) as an associate at an Am Law 100 firm based in Atlanta, Georgia.

Barnard is a graduate of the University of Notre Dame where he received both his Bachelor of Arts (summa cum laude) and Juris Doctorate (magna cum laude). He is a member of the American Bar Association and Indianapolis Bar Association.
