Gillian DePrez Keiffner Joins Firm as Counsel

Keiffner brings family law and civil litigation expertise to the growing law firm

INDIANAPOLIS – Densborn Blachly LLP announced today that Gillian DePrez Keiffner has joined the firm as counsel. Keiffner, who hails from a family of esteemed lawyers, will continue her practice focused on family law, complex civil litigation, including probate and trust matters, civil rights litigation and white-collar criminal and forfeiture defense. She also represents physicians appearing before the Medical Licensing Board of Indiana.

“We are thrilled to welcome Gillian to our team,” said Densborn Blachly Managing Partner David Blachly. “Gillian is a tremendous lawyer and an even better person. Her arrival adds a new practice area to the firm in family law and provides additional expertise for our current practice areas.”

Keiffner’s family law practice allows her to apply her extensive trial and litigation experience, while also staying true to her dedication to advocating for the protection of Indiana children.

Prior to entering private practice in 2015, Keiffner was a longtime Marion County deputy prosecuting attorney assigned to the Sex Crimes/Child Abuse Unit, where she conducted over 60 jury trials involving major felonies.

“I am delighted to join such a talented team of respected and experienced attorneys,” Keiffner said. “I admire the firm’s mission-driven approach and look forward to leveraging my expertise to deliver exceptional counsel to our clients.”

Keiffner earned her Juris Doctorate from Indiana University’s McKinney School of Law and was an early honors graduate of Butler University with double majors in history and political science. During her undergraduate and law school years, Keiffner worked with abused and neglected children as a parental visitation supervisor, and for the Salvation Army’s Women and Children’s Shelter in downtown Indianapolis.

Keiffner is a lifelong Indianapolis north side resident. She graduated from North Central High School and lives on Indianapolis’ north side with her family, including four young children.
